| A Managing
Director of Grayson & Associates. Dr. Daugherty with eighteen
years of management and consulting experience in human biologics,
diagnostics and medical devices, and has specialized in the
agriculture and veterinary industry.
Prior
to joining Grayson & Associates, Dr. Daugherty directed
a biomedical technology consulting firm focused on strategic
planning, business development, technology licensing, and
strategic acquisitions and divestitures, assisting companies
including The DuPont/ConAgra joint ventures and Idexx Laboratories.
Previously
he was President of the Biotechnology Division of ConAgra,
Inc., a major food processing company. He was Vice President
of Planning and Development of the Centennial Corporation,
a food and pharmaceutical materials company. He was Founder
and President of Culture Technologies, Inc., a start-up company
focused on tissue culture manufacturing.
He was
also a Founder and Director of several development stage companies,
including Suprex, Inc., a laboratory instruments company,
and Bactex, Inc., a vaccine company. Dr. Daugherty holds a
Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Nebraska, a Masters
of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon
University, and a BA degree from Washington University, St.
Louis, Missouri.
