| Gerald
Grayson is the Founder and Principal of Grayson & Associates.
Mr. Grayson has over twenty years experience in mergers and
acquisitions, corporate development, and financing the growth
of new technology oriented businesses.
Prior
to founding Grayson & Associates in 1986, Mr. Grayson
was, during the period 1983 to 1986, Senior Vice President
of Agrigenetics Corporation, a $100 million agricultural and
biotechnology company in the field of plant science, which
was sold to The Lubrizol Corporation in 1985. From 1970 to
1982, Mr. Grayson was Managing Director of the Corporate Acquisitions
and Divestitures Department and the Corporate Development
Group of Union Carbide Corporation.
In such
positions, he participated in the development of a number
of strategic businesses in the life sciences. From 1967 to
1970, Mr. Grayson was an associate with the New York law firm
of Kirlin, Campbell & Keating, and from 1966 to 1967 he
was a law clerk in the office of the U.S. Attorney for the
Southern District of New York. Mr. Grayson holds J.D. and
LL.M. degrees from the New York University School of Law where
he was a Gould Scholar, and although no longer practicing
law, remains a member of the Bar of the State of New York.
Mr.
Grayson has a long history of successful transactions. Such
transactions have been undertaken on behalf of both large
and small companies, and have included businesses in the following
fields: biotechnology; pharmaceuticals and drug delivery;
medical devices; diagnostic reagents and devices; imaging;
durable medical equipment and disposables; service businesses,
including home care; agriculture and plant science; aquaculture;
electronic products; computers and computer peripherals; internet
and e-commerce; telecommunications equipment and services;
chemicals; industrial products; and industrial gasses.
Mr.
Grayson is also a successful real estate investor and developer.
